Averimo Usrimo and the Nothics

After my business with the Magos, I heard of a place where the first Magos resided. So I went to the ports of the city I was in and recruited some mercenaries to help me on this trip. A human man who did nothing but nag the entire time and acted something akin to a babysitter, a Duhoz who I hired on as my travel guide, and my new trusty steed. After I hired the two men and bought this horse we took a ship to the main city of the Duhoz country, Aslaskia. Once there the mercenaries wanted to just leave town without any supplies or information, I stopped them and guided us to the port master.

After we got all our supplies and some information on our target location we saw a small girl stalking us. We gave chase and she ran. After we cornered her she attacked us. So I quickly dispatched her with a spell and integrated her. She seemed suspicious after telling us she had a benefactor so I stuck her in a barrel and tied her to my horse. Then we set off to the tower of the First Magos.

While we were traveling I trusted the Duhoz guide but he sent us in the wrong direction, so I corrected our course. But then we got stuck in a blizzard, so we quickly made our way to a cave. While there one of the buffoons in the group, the Duhoz to be specific, fell into a trap laid by the Nothic tribe inside. My steed the ever steady protector store forth into the darkness to save the fool. After that I quickly raised the alarm and I struck a deal with the girl we had captured to save the others in return for better treatment, as I am not a cruel person by nature.

While we traversed the darkness we found an Ice wall created by the Duhoz man. It trapped us with the Nothic tribe. We dispatched them quickly, then while the other two bickered I found the weak point in the Ice Wall and collapsed it. While we traveled deeper, I saw a glimmering in the corner of my eye. The other two thought I was insane until I went right through the wall. There was a large gap that I jumped. I knew it would speed up our progress to the others. Yet the babysitter did not want to take the risk I was wrong and left back through the wall. I followed him to make sure he did not die without my help. We continued along and found the others in a white room with an altar. It was clearly a sacrifice room for the king of the Nothic but the fools destroyed the altar in a fit of rage. So I set about fixing it with my extraordinary magic skills. While this happened it told them to find the Nothic King and bring him to me. Once they did, a large horde came through the room. So the group tried to defend against him. Once I finished the altar and turned to help the group, burning and then simultaneously freezing our foes, the woman we captured took the opportunity to knock me out.

Once I awoke she was about to finish the ritual by eating the Nothic king’s eye. That’s when I acted. I used a special item I acquired from the Ainpar to turn my trusty steed into an Ainpar. A one use item. Then with the residual magical power I took control of him and crushed her head in between Ainpar’s hands. After we stopped the ritual we went to the tower. Yet that info must be kept out of this as to secure my safety from the Magos as they would want me dead if they found out I knew their secrets about their transformations.
